ISPI SoCal has partnered with ATD San Diego to enable ISPI SoCal members to participate in the series Get Good with Articulate Storyline. Articulate Storyline is our profession’s option of choice for developing online learning support. This open forum is for learning and sharing techniques and insights.

Guest Speaker: Julia Whaley
Julia Whaley is a passionate learning and development professional with over seven years of experience in instructional design. In her current role as an eLearning Developer at Cinecraft Productions, Julia creates impactful learning solutions to drive business objectives across a wide variety of industries. She particularly enjoys developing scenario- and simulation-based training to help clients effectively transform learner behavior. A lifelong learner herself, Julia continually seeks out opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge base, embracing emerging tools and technologies as the learning landscape evolves.
She has presented at many industry conferences, including ATD’s TechKnowledge, The Learning Guild’s DevLearn and Microlearning Design Conference, and was a selected member of the 2023 Learning Thirty Under 30 cohort.

John has been combining words, visuals, and sound in video and interactive media for clients and employers, including Hitachi Data Systems, Farmers Insurance, Southern California Edison, Kaiser Permanente, and most Asian car companies.
Author of the book Scriptwriting for High Impact Video, he has taught at Cal State Northridge, lectured at UCLA, and conducted workshops at various professional organizations and conferences.
An experienced coder, he has developed and managed numerous websites and developed software used by clients, including Saturday Night Live. After five years using Storyline at Genentech, he is now accepting assignments as an independent consultant.

Kambria Dumesnil is the founder of the AI Innovation Lounge. She helps teams prepare for an AI-driven future with hands-on training and use case development. She is a UC Berkeley 2024-2025 Tech Policy Fellow and dedicated to the people-side of tech to ensure meaningful and impactful implementations. She holds a Master's degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning from Boise State and is certified as a Prosci Change Practitioner and in Luma's Human-Centered Design.
