Systemic Design not Merely Problem-solving
We seek to optimize performance. That seldom happens when we adjust one or two aspects of an existing performance system. As Tosti encouraged us to do, we look at the overall system supporting performance and configure behavior influences for optimal return on investment.
Tools for Performance Engineering Performance Thinking® models, logic, and tools offer a unique combination of simplicity, plain English, and flexibility so that everyone in an organization can participate in continuous improvement with a design engineering approach
Session Description
In this webinar we discuss the difference between a problem-solving or repair approach to performance improvement, and a systemic design engineering approach, with implications for potential impact and the likelihood of innovation.
