Lisa Toenniges

Based on more than 30 years of hands-on experience creating thousands of learning solutions, Innovative Learning Group CEO Lisa Toenniges, CPT, will share her latest thinking on how to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop learning and performance solutions and how learners can use AI in their learning experiences. She'll also provide a road map to incorporate AI into your learning and performance strategy.

    Session Description

    At the end of this session you'll be able to:

    • Identify the major elements of learning and performance strategy and explain how AI fits in.
    • Describe how AI can be used to design and develop learning, including several associated tools.
    • Explain how AI can be used by learners during learning experiences.
    • Recognize that as you consider macro learning needs of your target audiences, AI becomes a content area of focus.

    You'll also leave the session with a job aid highlighting the pros and cons of using AI for a variety of learning development tasks and learner experience activities.

    About the Speaker

    Lisa Toenniges, CPT, is the CEO and Owner of Innovative Learning Group, a company she founded in March 2004. A dynamic and respected leader, Lisa has more than 30 years of experience in the performance improvement industry and has consulted with many Fortune 1000 companies about their learning and performance strategies and solutions.

    ILG was born out of Lisa’s passion for building a business, providing for her employees, and doing what is right for clients. Her entrepreneurial spirit, positive outlook, and hands-on leadership style have been the drivers behind ILG’s profitable annual compound growth.

    Lisa has devoted more than three decades to ISPI at both the chapter and international levels. In 2018, she received the Distinguished Service Award for her outstanding contributions to the advancement of the Society. Lisa has held several leadership roles on ISPI’s board of directors, including treasurer, president-elect, president, and past president.

    Lisa has a master’s degree in instructional technology from Wayne State University in Detroit and a bachelor’s degree in music education from Michigan State University.
