Performance Improvement at the Speed of Change, with Holly Burkett

Holly Burkett, PhD

Join this interactive session to explore best practices for equipping leaders, teams, and employees with the critical skill-sets and mindsets needed to combat burnout, spur motivation, and drive performance in a climate of perpetual churn and change.

Don't get left behind the performance curve as the speed of change intensifies!

    Session Description

Increased demands for evidence-based processes have heightened use of performance improvement in both the private and public sector. Yet sustaining momentum for performance improvement in the face of accelerated change is an aspect of practice that is often overlooked and underestimated. Many leaders and teams are struggling to keep up with chronic disruption, with rates of change fatigue, burnout, frustration, or apathy rising at precisely the time when more change is precisely what organizations need in order to reset for the “next normal."

    Key concepts we will explore:

    • Key indicators of change fatigue and burnout
    • Impact of burnout upon productivity, morale, and organizational commitment
    • Assessing your organization’s resiliency level
    • Systemic approaches for growing organizational resilience
    • Implications for HPT practice
