COVID-19 Challenges for Learning and Performance Professionals Series: Interview with Kathleen P. O'Donnell, Ph.D., Learning Innovation Architect

 Kathleen P O'Donnell, Ph.D.

In this ISPI SoCal Challenges Interview, Kathleen will discuss how the dramatic impact of the Covid-19 crisis is changing learning design and delivery.  These changes will impact:

  •  How organizations develop and reskill their staffs
  •  How instruction and training is designed and delivered with virtual and mobile technologies
  •  The need for a lifelong learning mindset to foster skill and capability development
  •  The likelihood of ever returning to "normal" practices in learning and performance
  •  The changes to expect in instructional design thinking for a changing world

Kathy’s perspective comes from her experience as Manager, Learning Innovation and Architecture at Teradata, a leading provider of database and analytics-related software, products, and services, as well as long-time consulting in instructional design for high-tech companies.  She received her Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles.
