The Rise of AI in L&D: What You Need to Know, with Stella Lee, PhD

Stella Lee

Stella Lee is an expert on topics related to advanced technology, how it is changing our world, and implications for practitioners in our field.

In this interactive presentation, we will examine and discuss some of these concerns, including:

  • What is the current AI landscape for L&D?
  • What are some common applications?
  • What are the promises and challenges of AI?
  • How can we mitigate the risk and assess our organization’s readiness for AI?

    Session Description

The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we approach learning and development. From personalized learning paths and adaptive testing, to content curation and recommendation, AI has the potential to enhance workplace learning in a number of ways. However, knowing what is the right AI solution is challenging as there is no standard definition of what AI is; decision makers and practitioners alike are left struggling with understanding the fast changing AI landscape, assessing the organization’s readiness in implementing AI, and asking questions such as how to evaluate these products, what are related privacy and ethical concerns, and how to best optimize these products in a way that is effective and beneficial to the workforce.

There will be opportunities to discuss emerging trends and applications, as well as sharing best practices on how to prepare your L&D team as strategic partners for this new technology.
